third diary of the first week of January

Posted in Diary at 7:41 am by hayatotto

In January 4th,  I went to drive with my friends to SPOCCHA. We kept batting for one hour. I am not good at baseball. So I was in softball corner whose ball was very slow. After that we played volley ball and tennis and video game. We had a very good time.  But I couldn’t grip my hand strongly because of the shock of the softball. Maybe my hand power at that time was about 3.  Be careful!!!!!

January 3rd is my friend’s birthday. He said he had never celebrated his birthday by his friends. So I planned a birthday party with my friends to surprise him. One friend of mine took him to bar where many friends were waiting. When he entered there, we said “Happy Birthdday” and he was almost moved. It was nice birthday party.  And I drunk tequila for the first time.

In January 1st, I went to HATSUMOUDE. Evry year, our family go to same shrine. I did OMIKUJI this year, too. I choosed No.23. When I took this number’s stick, I thought this must be lucky number. Because 23 is the Michael Jordan’s one. So I was happy at that moment. But the result was 吉. This is the subtlest one in OMIKUJI. It says ”you must be modest. If you do something without restrain, you would fail.”  I think so, too.

Do you believe OMIKUJI?

I had worked for three days at Izusen which is the shop of Osechi. I went to help and get money. It was very hard.

First day, I went at nine in the morning and could go back at five in the afternoon. But after that, I should have worked at my regular part-time job place until two in the morning.

Second day,  I went nine in the morning. I slept for only five hours. So I was so sleepy. And I could go back at nine in the night.

Third day was the hardest . I went at four in the morning!! And I kept spread powder on 4500 shrimps until twelve. After that I kept setting Osechi until eleven in the night.

I got about 44,000 yen. And the taste of beer after such work was amazing.

In December 25th, we had a christmas party. Owing to Akiko, we could do several nice games. Everyone, of course including Misa who is our Reading class teacher, could enjoy at that time. And at last of that party, Masazumi and Hiroki played guitar and Rei sung with them. They were great. At that time, I envied them. I wish I could play the some instruments.

After that Christmas Prarty, we went to WATAMI with Mike. We talked many things and the taste of beer after working was great.

We had a great time that day.  I want to go with all the members of our class next time.

We had a good time!!

Posted in The message to Michael at 1:31 pm by hayatotto

Hey Michael! Thank you for yesterday. We could have a good time last night owing to you. I want to talk more with you. Maybe, all the members of our class think like me. So let’s go to drink or eat dinner again with someone in our class. I’m looking forward it from now.

By the way, I made a new category, ”the message to Michael ” for you. Because you said we can keep contact each other on this blog and I will want to talk or consult many things even after the class has finished. So please check and give me your comments to my blog even after the class has finished. If you want to ask to me ”What kind of class do students like?” or “What kind of person is …. ” and so on, I’ll do my best to answer your question on this blog.  Anyway, let’s keep communicating even after the class has finished.

Oops! Please tell me your girlfriend’s present from Amazon on next Monday.

P.S.    The lady of Ritsumeikan University who we met on the train was very beautiful.

See you next Monday!!

Rakugo

Posted in define something Japanese at 6:59 am by hayatotto

Rakugo is Japanese traditional performance. The great thing in Rakugo is that the performer is the only one person. Usually, one performer keeps talking funny or heart-warming story for from thirty to sixty minutes. And he play many kinds of person. For example, he play woman or child or men who have different characters. And the tools are only two, Sensu(fan) and Tenugui(handkerchief). The performers express many situations. They play the situation when they eat something  or smoke or use as a oar by use Sensu. And also they play the one when they write or read a letter by use Tenugui. In Rakugo, though every action, one’s eyes or volume of voice are very important, especially the look and timing is very important. The perfomers make tension and relaxation and entertain many people by thier speaking skill. Rakugo is the ectertainment that Japan can be proud against abroad.

Define the Spaghetti

Posted in Spaghetti raugh draft at 9:21 am by hayatotto

Spaghetti is the Italian food which have many shapes. And there are two meanings. One meaning is long, slender sticks of pasta. Some other types of pasta are noodles and macaroni. The other meaning, from Italian cooking, is cooked spaghetti served with sauce. And there are also many kinds of sauce. So the differences of the combinations beween pastas and sauces creat new spaghetti. There are many spaghetti dishes, but the most common one is spaghetti with meat sauce. Other sauces use tomatoes, seafood, cream, and so on. Grated cheese is ofren sprinkled on the spaghetti before eating. My favorite spaghetti is Meat Spaghetti.
